What food will my puppy be eating?
Your puppy will be eating a complete and balanced premium puppy food, appropriate for their age and size. We send a supply of that exact food home with you so nothing changes on the first day, along with the portion guidance we have been following.
Will I receive health records?
Yes. Every puppy goes home with dated health records covering veterinary examinations, vaccinations given to date and the deworming program they have received, ready to hand to your own veterinarian.
When should I schedule my first veterinary visit?
We recommend booking a wellness visit within the first few days at home. It establishes care with your veterinarian, confirms your puppy’s condition and lets you plan the remaining vaccination and parasite prevention schedule together.
What vaccinations has my puppy received?
Puppies receive age-appropriate core vaccinations under veterinary guidance before delivery. The exact doses and dates are documented in the record that travels home with your puppy, and your veterinarian will continue the series from there.
How should I transition my puppy to a new food?
Slowly. If you choose to change foods, mix a small amount of the new food into the current food and increase it gradually over seven to ten days. A gradual transition helps avoid digestive upset, and there is no rush.
What does the 2-year genetic health guarantee cover?
It covers qualifying genetic defects diagnosed within the first two years, subject to the terms of our Health Guarantee Agreement. A written diagnosis from your veterinarian is required, and the agreement sets out the documentation, timelines and remedies in full.
