How We Raise a Puppy: Inside the Everpine Program

Everything a puppy becomes starts long before homecoming day. Our program is built around one idea: raise puppies that are healthy, confident and ready for real family life, with the documentation to prove the care behind them.

We are a family-raised, professionally operated breeder in Portland, Oregon, focused on three breeds we know deeply: the Maltipoo, the Cavapoo and the Dachshund. Here is what actually happens in the weeks before a puppy meets its family.

Health, verified and documented

Every puppy is raised with hands-on daily care and goes home vet-checked, with a health certificate and age-appropriate vaccination and deworming records. Each puppy is microchipped, with the details included, and comes with our written two-year genetic health guarantee. The care is not just promised. It is on paper from the start.

Socialization from the start

Confidence is built early. Our puppies grow up around the ordinary sounds, surfaces and gentle handling of a busy home, so the world is familiar rather than frightening by the time they leave. That early foundation is why so many of our families tell us their puppy settled in within days.

Matching, not just selling

We would rather help a family choose the right puppy than simply sell one. Every listing shows an honest expected adult size drawn from the puppy’s own records, and we talk families through temperament, care and fit before anyone commits. If a breed is not right for a home, we say so.

Support that does not end at pickup

Homecoming is the start of the relationship, not the end. Our team stays available for the settling-in weeks and the questions that come up long after, from feeding to grooming to training. We share photos and updates as a puppy grows, and we are always glad to hear how they are doing.
