    How delivery works

Buying from a distance

Looking for puppies for sale near you?

Everpine is one family breeder raising puppies at home in Portland, Oregon. We do not run kennels in other states, and we would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise.

What we do instead is bring the puppy to you. Everpine staff drive our own vans on suitable routes, and we arrange accompanied travel for the rest of the lower 48. Distance decides the logistics, not which puppy is right for your family.

Common questions before you buy a puppy

How much do Everpine puppies cost?

Dachshund puppies start at $1,400, Maltipoos at $1,600 and Cavapoos at $1,700. The figure on each card is the full puppy price, not a deposit. Delivery is quoted separately and usually runs $150 to $300.

What a Dachshund puppy costs
How do I reserve a puppy?

Send an inquiry about the puppy you like and we will answer your questions. For delivery, the full puppy price and delivery fee are required to confirm the reservation. For Portland pickup, a 60% deposit and written agreement can hold your puppy for up to 30 days, with the balance due before collection.

How buying an Everpine puppy works
Are Everpine puppies registered?

Our Dachshunds are purebred and AKC registration is included. Maltipoos and Cavapoos are crossbreeds, so they are not eligible for AKC registration as purebred dogs and we do not claim that they are. Every puppy, whatever the breed, goes home with a veterinary health certificate and its vaccination and deworming records.

Registration papers and pedigree explained
How can I tell a responsible breeder from a bad one?

Ask for specifics and see whether the answers stay consistent: where the puppies are raised, what veterinary care they have had, what the health guarantee actually covers in writing, and what happens if something goes wrong. A breeder who will not put those answers in writing is telling you something.

How to choose a responsible breeder
What do teacup, toy and miniature actually mean?

They are size descriptions breeders use to set expectations about adult weight. They are not official breed classes, and no honest breeder can promise an exact adult size for a puppy. Every Everpine card shows an expected adult weight range rather than a single number.
